INTERMISSION MUSIC is the soundtrack to An Intermission, an artists'  film by Edwin Mingard made in
collaboration with a group of young people experiencing homelessness in Stoke-On-Trent, England.
The music, like the film itself, was made collaboratively. Over a period of several weeks, the group worked with composer Tom Haines (of the London Snorkelling Team) to create the soundtrack.
This surprising, contemporary radiophic recording might not sound like what you'd expect. Recorded in parks, streets and shelters in Stoke during workshop sessions with the film's young participants, the music has an inextricable bond with the work and its subject matter. Yet it soars beyond these
surroundings, speaking something deeper about the young musicians' hopes and tenderness towards each other in the face of adversity.

All profits go to young people experiencing homelessness.
